As the sun dips behind the Yarra Valley and the lights go out, Hubert Estate invites you to settle in for a summer evening of cinema, food and atmosphere.

Our Sunset Cinema returns to the amphitheatre with a special open-air screening of F1: The Movie — pairing big-screen racing action with golden hour drinks, wood-fired pizzas and movie-night favourites under the stars.

Arrive early to enjoy dinner at Quarters, or grab takeaway and set yourself up on the grass as the evening unfolds. From sunset sips to lights-out action, it’s a relaxed yet high-energy summer experience designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.

F1: The Movie brings the high-octane world of Formula 1 to the big screen, offering a thrilling look at the speed, drama and precision behind the world’s most elite motorsport.

From the intensity of race day to the stories that unfold beyond the grid, the film delivers adrenaline-fuelled action alongside human moments that make the sport so compelling — whether you’re a lifelong F1 fan or simply love a great cinematic spectacle.

THE EXPERIENCE

Make a night of it from the moment you arrive.
Quarters restaurant will be open for dine-in and takeaway, serving its signature wood-fired pizzas alongside classic movie must-haves like popcorn and soft serve. A pop-up drinks and snack bar will also be open in the gallery at the base of the Amphitheatre, pouring wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks throughout the evening and during the film.

Bring a rug or blanket, arrive early to secure your spot, and settle in as the Amphitheatre transforms into an open-air cinema under the summer sky.

SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• Fully licensed — no BYO alcohol permitted

• Bring your own rugs and blankets for the grass

• Chairs must sit at the top of the Amphitheatre for unobstructed viewing

• Seating is unreserved — suggested arrival from 7:30 pm for best spots

• Dogs welcome — on short leash; owners must clean up and keep them quiet

• Smoking prohibited in the Amphitheatre.
